Ok I know, I have been very absent for a while now. I dont want to bore you with all my problems lol but I do want to say I have totally missed this !!!!!. I had a few health issues and scares with several members in my family, which completely took me away from all this. On a better note things are sort of looking up for us and I hope they stay this way. I want to say this new mini collection is awesome for all who are grads this year. Personally my card was made for my 10yr old cousin. Shes graduation from fifth grade this year! we are all so proud of her.

I colored my digi in with watercolor pencils. The cap and gown are the colors of her school. My cousin likes very simple things and so this card is perfect for her. Just a few layers and some buttons. This is my fave digi from the collection.

I am truly sorry that I was late on my post. I made Jen, an Explosion box!!!!
I did not decorate the outside but I will have it done when I send it to her and post pics up here.

This is the cutest turtle lol I purchased it online and will post later on the website. I love how she came out

I love this page and its my favorite part of this box. It really hits the spot for me. Jen I really hope you love it

So I really wanted to make a cake in the middle and I did not have much to work with so I came up with this lol. The next two pictures of the cake. I used a ribbon roll and trimmed off the sides. I then wrapped it with 2 different ribbons.

The hardest part has been getting those candles to stay up lol but I think its just amazing !!!

I decided to use the St. Pattys Fairy for my project today.

I think shes beautiful!!!!

I did not add a sentiment on the outside, I thought she was cute that way.

I used recollections card stock for my base and some K&Company paperstack that was amazing!. I also cut out a frame with my gypsy wonderings. I bought the coins at Joann's just for this project and it came out amazing. I love how sparkly her clover looks.

When I was first contacted to be on the design team I almost flipped. I am very honored and grateful to be part of this team with so many wonderful ladies. I cant wait to see all their projects.

As soon as I saw this collection I fell in love and could not wait to start working.

My moms birthday is February 8th, I never got to make her a birthday card so I decided that it was not to late to give her one now.

Her favorite color is purple (can you tell)

I loved this stamp and it was only $1 at Joann's Awesome deal!

I added some skittles to accent some of the polka dots.

Materials:

Base of card was S.E.I. Chocolat

Designer paper and border paper were from DCWV Latte stack

The skittle were from Recollections in clear and green

The sentiment was from Joann's dollar bin

and the pearls were from Studio 112

I just want to take a minute to say that this hop is very special to me because I dont just get to hop with my Bestie Jenn, I also get to hop with my amazing SISTER Liliana, She is not only doing her first hop but also her first post. I am very PROUD of her. Love you !!!!!

Ok enough with the mushy stuff huh! (even though its the perfect holiday for it) For my project I decided to use create a critter. I loved the cute little mouse and thought it would be perfect for a valentines day love card. My hubby (and yes some of you might think this is gross) collects Ball Pythons as a hobby. He breeds mice for his snakes and I felt like this would be the perfect card for him.

I know you cant tell by the picture but the mouse is actually attached to an action wobble. (AWESOME!)
I love the way this card came out especially the foe stitching. I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I did making it. I made this card with my sister while she made hers for the hop as well. It was so much fun!!!!!

"TWO CHICS AND A BIRTHDAY HOP"

Welcome to Nicole and Meighen's Bday/ Bloggerversary Bash! I am so excited. First I would like to thank you for allowing me to be part of this hop. The theme for this hop was a holiday birthday! how fun is that. I chose Halloween and loved it. Candy to me is the best part of Halloween so I used that as the inspiraton for my card.

This is what I came up with. I just love the choclate candy.

For this Yummy! card I used recollections cardstock, the trick or treat border was from K&Company and all the delicious candy was from Jolee's Boutique (dimensional stickers) I love the dimension in this card. I cut the Happy Birthday from the create a critter cart. My new fave! (thanks Jenn).

My daughter already has the receiver of this card picked out, she could not stop staring at it!

"LOVE IS IN THE AIR BLOG HOP!"

Welcome to my Blog and the Love Is In The Air Blog Hop! If you've come from visiting Momo, you're in the right place. This blog hop is all about love themed ideas.

This year will be the first one, I make a card for my husband. I wanted to make a special one that we did not have to just put away in a box for memory. I hope you guys love it as much as me.

For the card base I used some recollections paper, and for the dolls I used "The Immortal Love" stack to dress them up.

The stamp is from the dollar section at Joann's. I just loved it. I had a prima flower that did not match and so I decided to glimmer mist my flower (using my home made glimmer mist) and it did work.

Here is a close up of the card closed. I just love my cute hearts which I used some glossy accents for the shine.

Other items used for this project are pearl lace and stickles.

"Kich N Bleus Desings"

Hey Guys! Hope Everyone had a great weekend and for those (like me) who had a long weekend. I wanted to introduce to you one of my new favorite blogs Kich N Bleu Designs, Kich is Abby from Scrapbookaholic Abby's sister. She is starting her own line of digital stamps and has already released Jan and Feb. I am so in love with her Feb release that I want them all. They are also doing a Design Team call which yours persoanlly is definitely going to try out. Below is just one of the amazing Digis and I got the chance to color it in. so here was my take on this Digi, dont you just love it. I colored them in with watercolors. I am still trying to perfect it but I think it came out great.

"Altered Matchbox"

Hi everyone, I know I have been out of it but I hope with all the blog hops im attending soon that it will pick up.

I made this altered matchbox for a swap I am attending.
I used tags bags boxes and more for the matchbox, some recollections cardstock and distressed it with ranger distress inks. Some prima flowers I got in a swap. Also I bead and I love the idea of using pins so I tried my own alternative to it. I also placed a recollections brad on the side of the matchbox, where the slit was from the cut.The other items I had in my stash. I hope you guys enjoy.

I am so excited I got to finish the tags I was making. First I would really like to say that I am very amazed at the SAHM that can really commit to their blobs daily and have time to craft. I have a 2yr old at home and I find it hard to do anything with her lol.

I only made 8 tags this time and I hope to make more the next time. I used the Jolly Holidays cart for the snowman. Some scraps and cereal boxes for the tag. The ribbons are all from joann's. I hope you guys like them.

Hey guys, below is a frame I decorated for my sister on her birthday. I decided to use this as my entry for Paula at more then favors CLICK HERE to check out her amazing blog.

I cut out pictures of us when we were younger (she does not like taking pictures anymore) I wanted to express how much I love her and how special she is to me. She also loves the saying in the middle so thats why I chose to put that instead of a picture. I hope you guys like it. I know its simple but she loved it.

"A card for Madison"

I knew I wanted to make Madison a card but was not sure what I wanted to say. I decided I would use pink and butterfiles since they are her fave. So below is what I came up with. This is my first Tri fold Shutter card and Im very proud of it. I hope it brings her a smile. I also wanted to give her a something special. I went to build a bear and made her a bear. I am just so excited I had to spread the news !!!! Yay I just made some new friends on facebook and might even make one close to home. Thank you ladies for joining my blog today. It means the world to me, that I can share a pc of me with you. I feel inspired now to post up my projects. I promise to post them this week. I made a very cute get well soon card for my SIL using a Digi stamp, First time too. I need to first check where I got it so I can give the credit where its due. I also just whipped up a small 41/4 by 41/4 card out of some scraps I had. I cant wait.

while I love to scrapbook I also looovvveee to bead. This weekend I was inspired by my moms jewelry pc's, and of course I got to work. My mom had made a necklace that looked reminded me of the beach and in turn I made one that reminded me of the sand. The earrings I am in love with lol. I love long earrings and everything dramatic

Frustrated

I was very excited today because I had just received the replacement adaptor cord for my cricut. Let me start by explaining that I had purchased my cricut about one year ago and was only able to use it once since then. I became pregnant shortly after and had some complications that did not allow me to use my cricut or even focus on crafting. I moved and then of course like I explained in a previous entry my DH threw it out by mistake. I had family over and they were all wanting me to cut one thing or the other. Of course with all the excitement I had to really use my Cricut I did start cutting away. I dont know if it was a particular paper I used but by the end of the night my blade tip broke off. I was so upset and still am. The only thing making me smile is that I atleast got to try out my new cartridge "Hoot "N" Hollar".

Well I have never blogged before and I am not sure what to do exactly. I have admired other blogs before and I hope to one day be able to have as beautiful a blog as those.
